CPRToday! Inc. ("CPRToday!", "we", "us") operates the online CPR, BLS, First Aid, ACLS, PALS and related training courses available at cprtoday.com and firstaidweb.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have over it. It applies to our websites, our student and group-administrator dashboards, and the Google Sign-In integration described below.
This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our websites or services.
You can create an account or sign in using your Google Account instead of a password. This is optional; an email-and-password option is always available. See section 3 for full details of how this data is handled.
We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, government identification numbers, health or medical records, or other sensitive categories of personal information. We are not a healthcare provider, and our course and certification records are not medical records.
We use the information described above to:
If you choose "Sign in with Google", we use Google Identity Services to authenticate you. We request only the following non-sensitive scopes:
openid — a unique identifier for your Google Account;email — your Google Account email address and whether it is verified;profile — your basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture. We use this information for one purpose only: to create your CPRToday! account and to sign you in to it. Your name and email address populate your account and the certificate issued to you; the Google account identifier is stored so that we can recognize you on your next sign-in.
We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service, and we cannot read, modify or delete any of your Google data.
CPRToday!'s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data received from Google APIs is:
You can disconnect CPRToday! from your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Doing so stops future Google sign-ins; it does not delete your CPRToday! account, your course history or any certificate already issued. To delete those, see section 8.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only as follows:
We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or complete a course.
We use the following third-party services to understand how our site is used and to measure our advertising:
As stated in section 3, information received through Google Sign-In is never used for advertising or ad targeting.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law. Because tracking technologies are not yet uniformly standardized, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" headers.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it:
We protect your information with HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed password storage, access controls limiting staff access to what their role requires, and a payment flow that keeps card numbers off our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password, and tell us promptly at support@cprtoday.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You may, at any time:

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. Our use of advertising cookies described in section 6 may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out by rejecting advertising cookies in your browser or by sending a GPC signal.
